Among them, exports of new pneumatic rubber tires stood at 3.87 million tonnes, up 3.3% year-on-year, corresponding toan export value of 64.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year decline of 2.5%. Measured by unit quantity, export volume totaled296.23 million tires, rising 2.6% year-on-year. From January to May, automobile tire exports amounted to 3.38 million tonnes, a 2% year-on-year growth, while exportvalue came to 54.3 billion yuan, dropping 4.3% compared with the same period last year. Industry News 2.【Transaction Value of Thailand’s State Reserve Rubber Auction Surpasses 1.23 Billion Baht】 Thai media reported on June 15 that the public auction of national reserve rubber organized by the Rubber Authority of Thailand(RAOT)concluded successfully. A total of 18,481.39 tonnes of rubber were put up for auction, with an aggregate starting bid value exceeding 818million baht. The benchmark mid-price for this auction was determined based on rubber volume, storage conditions and actual rubber quality stored inwarehouses. The pricing rule ensures asset valuations match the real state of goods and guarantees equal treatment to all bidders. 1.C&T Modular Warehouse, Chonburi ProvinceResidual rubber volume: 1,947 tonnes; starting bid: 98,528,828 bahtHuasengThai Rubber Co., Ltd. won the tender with the top bid of 150 million baht. 2.Wanchai Star 5 Warehouse, Songkhla ProvinceResidual rubber volume: 2,587.53 tonnes; starting bid: 125.06 million bahtNamchokSiripanichCo., Ltd. became the winning bidder with a highest offer of 166.2 million baht. 3.Wanchai Star 1 Warehouse, Songkhla ProvinceRubber volume: 6,686.6 tonnes; starting bid: 323.163 million bahtNorth East Rubber Public Co., Ltd. claimed the lot at a maximum bid of 429 million baht. 4. Thung Song Sawat Warehouse, Songkhla ProvinceRubber volume: 7,254.82 tonnes; starting bid: 362.2 million bahtThai Mac S.T.R. Co., Ltd. secured the batch with a top bid of 487 million baht. The smoked sheet rubber from the four warehousestotalled18,481 tonnes, with a combined starting bid value of 913 million baht. The totalfinal highest bid reached 1.232 billion baht, representing a value increase of 318 million baht, equivalent to a growth rateof34.82%. Theaverage transaction price stood at 66.67 baht per kilogram.Source:Qinrex Industry News 3.【Malaysia’s April Natural Rubber Output Rises 2.8% YoY, Falls 8.8% MoM】 According to the Department of Statistics Malaysia on June 11, Malaysia’s natural rubber exports in April 2026 rose 4.1%year-on-year to 37,360 tonnes, representing a 12.7% month-on-month increase. Of the total exports, 50.8% were shipped toChina, followed by Germany at 15.8%, the United States at 4.7%, the United Arab Emirates at 4.2%, and Portugal at 3.7%. Malaysia imported 55,353 tonnes of natural rubber in April, a year-on-year drop of 17.4% and a month-on-month decline of24.5%. Standard rubber, concentrated latex and natural rubber in other forms constituted the main import categories, withmajor supply countries including Thailand, Côte d’Ivoire, the Philippines and Myanmar. The monitored total natural rubber output stood at 18,515 tonnes in April, up 2.8% year-on-year and down 8.8% month-on-month. Smallholder plantations accounted for 88.5% of output, while state-owned plantations made up the remaining11.5%. Malaysia’s natural rubber inventoriestotalled130,698 tonnes at the end of April, falling 6.2% month-on-month. Processorsheld 76.9% of total stocks, downstream end-users held 23%, and large plantation owners accounted for merely 0.1%. Domestic natural rubber consumption reached 21,208 tonnes in April, climbing 9.3% year-on-year and 3.4% month-on-month. The latex glove sector remained the largest consumer of natural rubber in Malaysia, accounting for 70.3% of totaldomestic usage. Tires and hoses took up 8.4%, rubber thread 11.3%, and other industries 10%. During the period, buoyant overseas futures market sentiment boosted buying interest among offshore manufacturers for cup lump and smoked sheets, pushingprices of both raw materials steadily higher.
