Sustainability-related policies Organizational Structure Aim Addressing issues of greater importance and urgencyon a priority basis while grasping, for example, changes in the external environment and social needs. Initiative ■Continuously promoting and improving our sustainability activities with oversight and decision-making provided by the Board of Directors. We will work in closeliaison with relevant departments to carry out ESG (environmental, social, and governance)-related initiatives. ■To deliberate on important cross-cutting sustainability challenges related to management, Toyota has established a Sustainability Meeting primarily addressingthemes related to environmental and social issues, with the President serving as the chair. Additionally, a Governance Risk Compliance Meeting focusing onthemes related to governance, with the Chief Risk Offi cer and Chief Compliance Offi cer serving as the chair, has been established.■Specifi c issues and themes that are closely related to sustainability practices are deliberated in respective subcommittees.
