General The Plan is a defined contribution plan sponsored and administered by Ethan Allen Global, Inc. and its subsidiaries (collectivelythe “Company,” the “Employer,” or the “Plan Sponsor”). The Plan was formed effective July 1, 1994 through the merger of theRetirement Program of Ethan Allen Inc. (the “Retirement Program”) into the Ethan Allen 401(k) Employee Savings Plan. OnJanuary1, 1999, the name of the Plan was changed from The Ethan Allen Profit Sharing and 401(k) Retirement Plan to TheEthan Allen Retirement Savings Plan.
