Public Health Response •On 5 April 2026, the Government of Bangladesh, with support from UNICEF, WHO andGavi, the VaccineAlliance, launched an emergency measles-rubella vaccination campaign targeting more than 1.2 million children oThe campaign is beingimplementedin phases, with expansion to fourcitycorporations from 12 April andnationwide scale-upplanned from3 May.oThe campaign prioritizeschildren who have missed routine immunization andthose at greatest risk ofsevere disease and complications. •The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare is strengthening risk communication and community awareness onmeasles through public messaging on transmission, symptoms and populationgroups at highest risk, New publication:Digital adaptation kit for infectious disease surveillance •Thedigital adaptation kit for infectious disease surveillance–Volume 1:operational requirements for implementing WHO recommendations indigital systems waspublished.•This digital adaptation kitprovides content and data requirements tosupport the implementation of infectious disease surveillance systems.•It provides both cross-cutti
