Theworkshopbrought together speakers and participants from APECmembereconomies,academia,international organizations,and the private sector to share OPENING REMARKS Korea’sAPEC Senior Official, Deputy Director-GeneralJiyoon LeefromROK’sMinistry ofForeignAffairs(MOFA),welcomed participants to Incheon and expressed Korea’s honor in hosting theworkshop as part of the fourth phase of the Capacity Building Needs Initiative (CBNI), launched in Shenotedthat global supply chains, long built for efficiency, must now also be resilient in light ofrecent disruptions such as geopoliticaltensions, trade disputes, and the pandemic.
