Youth quotesfeatured in this report were sourced from extended response questionsincluded in the survey, some of which have been edited for clarityand brevity.A total of 1048 survey responses provides a large enough sample size todraw valid conclusions that represent Australia’s youth population. Witha sample size of at least n=1048. We are 95% confident that the true resultof the population falls within the interval defined by our results ±3%.Inaddition to descriptive statistics for each survey question,theanalysis includes statistically significant differences across the followingvariables/groups: gender, low socio-economic status (SES) backgroundand culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) background.
