However, with the volume of data, the authors cannot give a total guarantee. The publisher sincerely regretsany inaccuracies and is grateful for them to be brought to its attention. Further, limited pagespace, translation, and the need for stylistic editing means that some university names have hadto be abbreviated (e.g. University = Uni, Technology = Tech). Please always refer to universitiesdirectly to confirm full and correct names. In addition, where universities are ranked in bands - e.g.151 – 200 - a broad alphabetical approach has been taken based on a selected key word in a name;the banded list does not imply that the institution 200th spot is of any lower ranking than that in151st. The publisher realises that sometimes selected key words may differ from that which theuniversity or business school might itself have selected and which could potentially have given it adifferent position in the presented band list. For the most complete and up to date data for all QS Rankings, please see topuniversities.comand topmba.com Regional Rankings123Asia124Will Japan’s Merging Universities Emerge Triumphant?125India’s Academic Ascent127Ranks132Europe142AI-Powered Research143Ranks147Latin America154Ranks155Arab160A Region in Motion161Ranks165Best Student Cities168The Happiness Index169Ranks172Subject Rankings175The Price of Innovative Science176Arts & Humanities182The Evolution of Interdisciplinary Learning183Ranks187Top 100 by individual subject: Arts & Humanities193Engineering & Technology208The overwork myth209Ranks212Top 100 by individual subject: Engineering & Technology218Life Sciences & Medicine226Playing the Business Game227Ranks233Top 100 by individual subject: Life Sciences & Medicine239 Included is the university or school name, their location and their overall rank. However,as you know, there is much, much more that goes into a ranking. By exploring online, orin past edition ofQS Insights Magazine, you can see further context, such as indicatorpositioning and performance (the highest ranked institution for employability isn’talways the highest ranked for internationalisation), or regional positioning in both theSubject and World rankings. We’ve also included a selection of articles from the past 12 months that providefurther context as to what has happened. Rather unsurprisingly, Artificial Intelligencecontinues to be of interest to the sector, but the conversations have matured sub-stantially. No longer are we talking about the potential of AI, now the conversation hasturned to implementing it best.Likewise, employability, student choice, recruitment, research outcomes and com-munity outreach remained common themes throughout the past year. How they arebeing discussed, however, has changed.Reflecting on the previous 12 months from an admittedly narrow frame of select-ed articles and simplified rankings, there are a lot of similarities between the electionresults of both my birth and home countries. The conversations in international highereducation are the same, but the contextual understanding, the thoughtfulness, theperseverance and the dedication have blossomed. While we continue to live in uncertain times, I take heart in seeing the progressionand dedication in the sector.Until next year,Anton John Crace I write this immediately after an unusual instance in which both my country of birth,Australia, and my adopted country, Singapore, went to the polls to decide their gov-ernments on t
