That’s unique, and as thecomplexity of the challenges facing the world becomes more apparent, Ipieca’sconvening power will become even more valuable.Ipieca also recognises the growing importance of measuring performance, the affordable, reliable and accessible energy needed to fuel economic growthand improve living conditions for all. At COP30 in Brazil we co-hosted an official side event on ‘Just transition andadaptation: a global business dialogue’ and took part in other organisations’events and workshops. Throughout the year we provided industry technicalinputs to the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the InternationalCivil Aviation Organization (ICAO), supporting them in their work to sustainablylower emissions from shipping and aviation.Stakeholders recognise that Ipieca provides the opportunity to engage with climate, nature and people, the development of good practice to advanceenvironmental and social performance, and capacity building to turn theknowledge and resources developed
