By combining global analysis, high-levelconvening and hands-on technical support, the CETP ensures that evidence, policy guidance and practical tools reach those shaping energy strategies on theground. In 2025, the CETP has supported almost 350 high-level bilateral meetings withpolicy makers, over 700 workshops and technical exchanges, involving almost13 000 participants, and 26 capacity-building events with over 1 700 policyprofessionals on energy efficiency, data and modelling. Additionally, the CETPhasproduced or enhanced more than 200 reports, policy briefs and dataproducts. Through its three pillars of supporting national transitions, enabling multilateralcoordination and providing global analysis, the CETP translates internationaldialogueinto concrete action. The programme drives progress in energyefficiency, renewable energy deployment, critical minerals, financing energytransitions, clean cooking, methane emissions reduction, digitalisation of energysystems, technology and innovation, and people-centred energy transitions. TheCETP’s flexible design allows it to respond rapidly to emerging challenges, scalesuccessful initiatives and connect global insights with national policy making. Bylinking robust and reliable data with practical support and high-levelengagement, the CETP strengthens the IEA’s leadership and empowers partnercountriesto move faster toward secure, sustainable and inclusive energytransitions.
