Following our Safety & Quality Plan,we’re tracking key performanceindicators to maintain stableproduction across CommercialAirplanes. This resulted in our teamincreasing deliveries to 600 airplaneslast year – our most since 2018. Wealso won more than 1,100 commercialorders last year, including the largestwidebody purchase in Boeing history.As we look to move to higher rateson the 737 MAX and 787 Dreamlinerthis year, we will methodically use thesame process to guide our decisionswhile continuously monitoring ourproduction system to ensure stability. 143Non-GAAPMeasures 144Selected Programs,Products andServices Staying focused on safety, qualityand performance, we’re stabilizingoperations and increasing production,delivering more airplanes, andstrengthening development programexecution. Across our business, we’rewinning in the market with record-breaking orders and big wins –pushing our company backlog to arecord $682 billion last year. 159ShareholderInformation Looking ahead, some of our biggestopportunities are completingcertification of the 737-7, 737-10 and777-9. We have a clear-eyed viewof what’s needed, and our adjustedtimelines reflect these realities. While I’m proud of what we’veaccomplished so far, we have notturned the corner just yet, and there’s In Defense, Space & Security, we’vemade great strides to stabilizeour business while securing atransformational win to build the U.S.Air Force’s sixth-generation fighter.We’re reducing the risk profile of ourdevelopment programs and leveragingactive management to deliver betteroutcomes for our customers. Thelessons we learn through these effortswill help us work closer with ourcustomers and ensure we start newprograms with the right foundationto consistently deliver on ourcommitments. Global Services continues to performand add customer value across ourcommercial and defense businesses,delivering capabilities in partsand distribution, maintenance andmodifications, cabins, digital services,and training. Our government servicesbusiness received its highest annualorders last year, and the GlobalServices team also launched a unifiede-commerce platform that bringstogether all of our distribution servicesinto a streamlined digital destination,simplifying how customers andsuppliers connect, transact andgrow their businesses. We’ve bolstered mandatory ProductSafety and Quality training forall employees, with enhancedsupport systems such as workplacecoaches, peer trainers and skillenhancement centers. More than600 hours of new curriculum havebeen added, covering critical areaslike quality proficiency and SafetyManagement System (SMS). “What gives meconfidence in our pathforward is our teamand the foundationwe’ve built tostabilize our business,strengthen our culture,and accelerate ourprogress.” We activated enhanced specializedtraining programs targeting sixessential manufacturing skills, andwe launched a mandatory immersiveLeaders in Foundational Trainingprogram to ensure managers arefully equipped to lead effectively,with safety at the forefront.Digitization of training systems,simplification of processes, andthe introduction of randomizedquality audits further reinforcecompliance and performance tracking.These types of activities reducecomplexity, improve performanceand strengthen factory health. Safety & Quality Safety is foundational to all that wedo – in the workplace and in theproducts we design, build and support.Along with our efforts to strengthenfactory health and long-termstability, we continue to implementinitiatives focused on workforcetraining, process improvementsand employee engagement. To foster a positive safety culture,employee involvement is encouragedthrough quarterly ma
