China has one of the highest scoresfor digital transformation objectives, confirmingthe country’s ambition to be at the forefront ofinnovation and technology developments. 5G is acrucial part of this, with 91% of Chinese enterprisesclaiming public 5G networks are important to thesuccess of their digital transformation strategies.For consumers, 5G is changing consumer behaviourwith content. In China, around two thirds of 5G userssurveyed watch paid-for video content on theirsmartphones on a weekly basis. Operators and other 5G ecosystem players,especially in pioneering markets, have shifted theirfocus to advanced 5G networks, with a view todelivering enhanced services to consumers andbusinesses.
