The new era ushers in a journey full of promise, while the new voyage strides forward in grand momentum.2024 marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and stands as a pivotal year for achieving thegoals outlined in the 14th Five-Year Plan. China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CSG") remains firmly guidedby XI Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fully and accurately implements the new developmentphilosophy, and pursues reform and innovation to secure success. Advancing toward high-quality development, we play a vital role infulfilling energy strategy responsibilities, and contribute to economic and social progress as a leader and main force in our mission. Over the past 20 years, we have moved from integrating with Hong Kong and Macao, to deepening our presence in the Lancang-Mekong region, and further expanding into Latin America, Central Asia, Europe, and Africa. Our overseas projects have grown fromisolated points into interconnected networks, forming a broader global footprint.We have shared development opportunities.Through international partnerships, we havebrought Chinese technology, standards, equipment, and services to markets around theworld. Electricite du Laos-Transmission(EDL-T) entered substantive operation; construction on the China-Laos 500kV InterconnectionProject begun; and a joint initiative for a Lancang-Mekong common electricity market was launched with Laos. We completed theacquisition of the Pluz Energy Peru S.A.A. distribution project in Peru and the Integrated Grid & Generation project in Uzbekistan,marking breakthroughs in Latin America and Central Asia, and continuously enhancing our global development capabilities.SmallYet Smart projects have strengthened people-to-people ties across borders.Our Dok Champa charity initiative became a globalmodel for poverty reduction, while the Open-air Cinema event was named one of the Top 10 Overseas Moments of SOEs in 2024.
