It was developed using the same methodology while drawing on ad-ditional data sources to triangulate findings. The report has been expanded to describe the sta-tus of rehabilitation services in Gaza, and the challenges in meeting the needs of those injured. The quantification of injuries in Gaza remains exceptionally challenging due to the ongoing con-flict. The report uses multiple data sources to provide insights into the number and distributions ofconflict-related injuries by type, including data from Emergency Medical Teams, the retrospectiveregistration of people with key injuries, WHO supported medical evacuations and key rehabili-tation data shared by service providers. No one data source is without limitations, but taken to-gether they can increase our understanding of the situation on the ground. This is crucial to helpmeet the current urgent demand for trauma and rehabilitation-related services and anticipatefuture needs, enabling effective allocation of resources, timely response, and comprehensivecare, as well as helping plan for the long-term needs of the population. By utilizing estimates ofconflict-related injuries, stakeholders can better address the immediate and ongoing physical, psychological, and social needs of survivors. The findings of the report are striking, and support the original 2024 report. A quarter of all in-juries are potentially life-changing, with an estimated 41,844 people, or 1.9% of the population ofGaza now affected. Up to a quarter of those are children. At the same time, rehabilitation services, like all health services in Gaza, are under enormous strain, with no service fully operational, and atotal loss of two thirds of pre-existing services. Remaining services are now augmented by Emer-gency Medical Teams and partners, but even with this surge support, supplies are constrained, and overall rehabilitation capacity in Gaza remains well below pre-conflict levels. This report was drafted in August and September 2025 during a period of severe escalation inGaza, particularly a military offensive on Gaza City, and in a context of famine, forced displace-ment, killings at aid distribution points and destruction and disruption of health services. Thehealth situation continues to deteriorate on a daily basis, and services available one day maynot be available the next, with several critical rehabilitation services facing imminent closure inGaza City. There is an urgent need to expand trauma services, including rehabilitation and mentalhealth and psychosocial support, to effectively treat those injure
