Of which, investment in residential properties amountedto approximately RMB3,577.0 billion, representing a decrease ofapproximately 10.4% as compared to the corresponding periodlast year. The data shows that real estate investment remainsunder significant pressure. The decline in real estate investmentwaspartly attributable to heightened market uncertainty,withreal estate enterprises adopting a more cautious approach tonew project development, while certain real estate enterprisesfaced tight cash flow, making it difficult to support large-scalenew real estate investment projects. 225.714.8%162.715.5% Statistical data also indicates that the total area of completedpropertieswas 225.7 million sq.m.,representing a decreaseofapproximately 14.8%as compared with the correspondingperiodlast year;of which,that of residential properties wasapproximately162.7 million sq.m.,representing a decreaseofapproximately 15.5%as compared with the correspondingperiodlast year.The decline in completed area reflects thattheconstruction progress of real estate projects has beenhindered to a certain extent, due to factors such as fluctuationsin construction material prices, shortages of construction labour,and project delays caused by funding constraints among certainreal estate enterprises. Despite the decline in completed area,therate of decline has narrowed as compared with previousperiods, suggesting that the market is gradually adjusting to thenew enviro
