By offering clear Thisdocumentpresents a comprehensive sustainability framework designed to support micro, small, andmedium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in the tourism accommodation sector across Cabo Verde, The Gambia,and São Tomé and Príncipe. The framework consists of twotools: a set of sustainability guidelines and anaccompanying self-assessment. Together, these tools aim to guide tourism businesses toward moresustainable practices, while providing a practical mechanism for assessing current performance and The structure of the guidelines is organized across four key dimensions of sustainability: environmental, social,economic, and sustainability management(Figure 1). Eachdimension is further divided into specific focusareas, reflecting internationally recognized best practices and adapted to the regional context.
