As the global influence of global capabilitycentres(GCCs) continues to expand, we believeHyderabad is uniquely positioned to lead, not just in scale but also in vision. From digital innovation and talent leadershipto AI integration and inclusive workplaces, the contours of the future of work are being shaped right here. HYSEA is proudto be at the heart of this transformation. This report, developed in collaboration with PwC India, offers a strategic lens on how GCCs are evolving, and what it willtake to lead in the next phase of global enterprise transformation. It brings together insights from some of India’s most forward-thinking GCCs, IT, andITeSorganisations, and providesmeaningful perspectives on how work, workplaces, and workforces are being reimagined. The findings go beyondobservation; they show what becomes possible when technology, talent, and leadership are aligned with purpose. We see this report not just as a study, but as a platform for shared learning and meaningful action. The themes explored–from agility and AI readiness to employee sentiment and HR capability–reflect the real-time decisions that leaders aremaking to stay competitive, resilient and relevant. As GCCs increase their global impact, insights like these will play a key role not only in shapingorganisationaloutcomes,but also in strengthening the wider ecosystem. This pressureis shaping how companies compete, how they evolve andhow they lead in a time of accelerating change. 1. Technology and AI in the workplace Artificial intelligence (AI) and automation are no longer afuture-state conversation. Many teams are already testingor deploying generative AI (GenAI) and automation tools,especially in HR. But adoption isn’t just about access totechnology–it’s shaped by ethical governance, skills andhow well new tools integrate into daily work. This sectionlooks at where momentum is building and what’s holdingit back.
