AbstractSince 1979's establishment of diplomatic ties between the United States and China, the number of Chineseinternational students choosing to study in America has remained consistently high. With abundant educationalresources and outstanding instructional quality, the United States continues to be the first choice for Chinesestudents looking to study abroad. In 2024, approximately 24.6% of international students studying in the UnitedStates were Chinese students, marking a decline from their long-held position as the largest group to now rankingAlthough many Chinese students wish to study in America, the journey can be difficult . In accordancewith the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), the WholeRen Group Research Center compileddata from 13,4798 dismissed Chinese international students who studied in the U.S. from 2013-2025 and utilizedWholeRen's services. A random sample of 500 cases from March 2024 to March 2025, representing the latesttrends regarding academic dismissal, were selected to develop this report.
