(Trex or Company), is the world’s largest manufacturer of high-performance, low-maintenance wood-alternative decking and railing products and a leader in outdoor living products and accessories, marketed under the brand name Trex®, with more than 30 years of product experience. A majority of its products aremanufactured in a proprietary process that combines reclaimed wood fibers and scrap polyethylene. The Company isincorporated in Delaware. The Company operates in asinglereportable 2.BASIS OF PRESENTATION The accompanying unaudited condensed consolidated financial statements have been prepared in accordancewith accounting principles generally accepted in the United States for interim financial information and U.S.Securities and Exchange Commission instructions to Form 10-Q and Article 10 of Regulation S-X and, accordingly,the accompanying unaudited condensed consolidated financial statements do not include all of the information andnotes required by accounting principles generally accepted in the United States for complete financial statements. In addition, on an interim basis, all segment profit or loss and asset disclosures
