This report from Temenos surveys 500 UK small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and finds that four in ten SMEs plan to increase their use of financial products through non-financial platforms in the next 12 months. The trend of embedded finance, which integrates financial services into non-financial platforms, is the fastest growing trend in the fintech industry and is bringing convenience, speed, and economy to consumers and businesses. The survey finds that SMEs are increasingly using embedded financial services, despite mixed levels of satisfaction with the products and services provided by their banks. The report suggests that banks should consider offering embedded financial services to better serve the needs of SMEs.
