ChinaCarbon Neutral Development Group Limited(the“Company”) is an exempted company with limited liabilityincorporated in the Cayman Islands and its shares are listedon The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the “StockExchange”). The registered office address of the Company islocated at 89 Nexus Way, Camana Bay, Grand Cayman, KY1-9009, Cayman Islands. The principal place of business of theCompany is located at Unit 1808,18/F, Landmark South, 39Yip Kan Street, Wong Chuk Hang, Hong Kong. 89 Nexus Way,Camana Bay, Grand Cayman, KYI-9009, Cayman Islands39Landmark South 181808 During the six months ended 30 June 2023, the Group wasprincipally engaged in the following principal activities: – –Tradingof carbon-credit assets,carbon credit andcarbon asset development, management and investmentin carbon neutral related fields and carbon consultingand carbon planning; and the carbon negative businessincludingindustrial carbon negative with a core ofdevelopment of carbon capture, utilisation and storage(“CCUS”)and natural carbon negative focusing onforestand crop optimisation(the“Global CarbonNeutral Business”); and –Civilengineering works and building constructionand maintenance works (the “Civil Engineering andConstruction Business”). – 2. 2.BASISOF PREPARATION AND ACCOUNTINGPOLICIES 3416 Thisunaudited condensed consolidated interim financialinformation for the six months ended 30 June 2023 hasbeen prepared in accordance with Hong Kong AccountingStandard (“HKAS”) 34 “Interim Financial Reporting” issuedby the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants(“HKICPA”) and the applicable disclosure requirements setout in Appendix 16 of the Rules Governing the Listing ofSecurities on the Stock Exchange.
