TheCompany also participates in the wholesale market by purchasing and selling electricity, natural gas, and environmentalcredits in an effort to meet the needs of, and obtain reasonably-priced power for, its retail customers, manage risk, andadminister its long-term wholesale contracts. In addition, PGE performs wholesale market services for third parties inthe region. The Company develops products and service offerings for the benefit of retail and wholesale customers.PGE operates as a single segment, with revenues and costs related to its business activities recorded and analyzed on atotal electric operations basis. The Company owns unregulated, non-utility real estate comprised primarily of PGE’scorporate headquarters. The Company’s corporate headquarters is located in Portland, Oregon and its approximately4,000 square mile, State-approved service area, entirely within the State, encompasses 51 incorporated cities. As ofJune 30, 2026, PGE served 962,000 retail customers within a service area of approximately 2 million residents. PGE is subject to the jurisdiction of the Public Utility Commission of Oregon
