The Group is committed to creating economic and sustainablevalue while providing timely services to our customers inHong Kong. Leveraging our past experience, technicalexpertise, quality control and established procedures, theGroup’s management team has applied its capabilitiesto address challenges and increasingly complex issues onconstruction sites, thereby continuing to receive supportfrom our past and present clients, consultants and businessassociates. 環境、社會及管治與創新 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)and Innovation B1002025/26CITF1.07 During the year, mindful of our ESG responsibilities and withthe encouragement of our clients, we continued to deploy“B100 Biodiesel” generators in our plants and machinery onongoing project to reduce carbon monoxide and particulatematter emissions. Furthermore, through the adoption ofinnovative construction methods and technologies, theGroup successfully obtained a grant of HK$1.07 million fromthe Construction Innovation and Technology Fund (“CITF”)during the Financial Year 2025/26. 財務表現及項目進度 Financial Performance and Project Progress 2025/26 During the year, the Group successfully turned loss intoprofit. This was primarily attributable to an increase ingross profit generated from major projects undertaken bythe Group where these projects reached advance stage ofcompletion during the Financial Year 2025/26. Moreover, theGroup succeeded in obtaining extensions of time from ouremployers by substantiating that the delays were beyond theGroup’s control as a contractor, which was duly consideredby the architects. Chairman’s Statement (continued) 市場環境及新獲批合約 Market Environment and New Contract Awards 20243.7%20250.7%2025/262024/25 Growth in Hong Kong’s construction industry is expectedto slow from 3.7% in 2024 to 0.7% in 2025, with theindustry’s performance affected by factors such as a weakhousing market, high inflation and a high fiscal deficit. As aresult, no new contracts were awarded to the Group duringthe Financial Years 2025/26 and 2024/25. The Group willcontinue to use its best endeavours in tendering for projectswith good potential, while focusing its resources on resolvingissues encountered in ongoing projects and finalising theaccounts of completed projects. 展望 Outlook Since late 2025, we noticed that more development projectsare calling for foundation works tenders. We are thereforecautiously optimistic that the industry might be turning thecorner into 2026, albeit still weak and uncertain.
