Summary of Significant Accounting Policies The Company IQVIA Holdings Inc. (together with its subsidiaries, the “Company” or “IQVIA”) is a leading global provider of clinicalresearch services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries. With approximately93,000 employees, the Company conducts business in more than 100 countries. Unaudited Interim Financial Information The accompanying unaudited condensed consolidated financial statements of the Company have been prepared inaccordance with generally accepted accounting principles in the United States of America (“GAAP”) for interim financial information.Accordingly, they do not include all of the information and notes required by GAAP for complete financial statements. In the opinionof management, all adjustments (consisting of normal recurring adjustments) considered necessary for a fair statement of theCompany’s financial condition and results of operations have been included. Operating results for the periods presented are notnecessarily indicative of the results that may be expected for the year ending December31, 2026. As such, the information included inthis Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q should be read in conjunction with the Company’s audited consolidated financial statementsincluded in the Company’s Annual Report on Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended December31, 2025. Recently Issued Accounting Standards Accounting pronouncements issued but not adopted as of March31, 2026 In November 2024, the FASB issued ASU 2024-03,Disaggregation of Income Statement Expenses (DISE), to improvethe disclosures about an entity's expenses and address requests from investors for more detailed information about the types ofexpenses in commonly presented expense captions. The new guidance requires additional information about specific expensecategories in the notes to financial statements at interim and annual reporting periods, and will be effective for the Company in theannual period beginning January 1, 2027, and interim periods beginning January 1, 2028.
