WHO's work on global health issues requires the assistance of external experts whomay have interests related totheir expertise.To ensure the highest integrity and public confidence in its activities, WHO requires that experts serving in anadvisory role disclose any circumstances that could give rise to a potential conflict of interest related to the subject of theactivity in which they will be involved.
