Strengthening Information Integrity in Elections: In the aftermath of the so-called “Election Super-Year” of 2024, when roughly half theworld’s adult population had the chance to vote, 2025 continues to bring a busy electoralcalendar, unfolding amid major global shifts, disruptions, and turbulence. The increasing Recognizing those challenges, the Action Coalition on Information Integrity in Elections(the ‘Action Coalition’) was launched in 2022 under the leadership of the United NationsDevelopmentProgramme(UNDP)and governed by six member organizations.The In 2024, the Coalition launched the initiative “Strengthening Information EcosystemsinElections through Global and National Linkages,”which aimed to deepen bothmultistakeholder and multilevel coordination.
