INTERIM REPORT2025 G E M CHARACTERISTICS OF THE GEM OF THES T O C KE X C H A N G E O F H O N G K O N GLIMITED (THE “STOCK EXCHANGE”) GEM GEM has been positioned as a market designed toaccommodate small and mid-sized companies to whicha higher investment risk may be attached than othercompanies listed on the Stock Exchange. Prospectiveinvestors should be aware of the potential risksof investing in such companies and should makethe decision to invest only after due and carefulconsideration. The principal placeof business of the Company is located at 11th Floor,Nanyang Plaza, 57 Hung To Road, Kwun Tong,Kowloon, Hong Kong. The Company is an investment holding company.The Company and its subsidiaries (collectivelyreferred to as the “Group”) are principally involvedin the following activities: (i) provision of electricaland mechanical engineering works and alterations,addition, renovation, refurbishment and fitting-out works, mainly in Hong Kong; (ii) investment inmarketable securities; (iii) investment in properties;and (iv) money lending. (i)(ii)(iii)(iv) 2. 2.BASIS OF PREPARATION GEMGEM1834 These unaudited condensed consolidated financialstatements have been prepared in accordance withthe applicable disclosure requirements of Chapter18 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securitieson GEM of the Stock Exchange (the “GEM ListingRules”) and with Hong Kong Accounting Standard(“HKAS”) 34 “Interim Financial Reporting” issuedby the Hong Kong Institute of Certified PublicAccountants (“HKICPA”). They have been preparedunder the historical cost convention, except forleasehold land and buildings classified as property,plant and equipment, investment properties andfinancial assets at fair value through profit or losswhich have been measured at valuation or fair value.These unaudited condensed consolidated financialstatements should be read in conjunction with theannual accounts for the year ended 31 March 2025.
