I wish to express my deepest gratitude to allthose who participated and contributed to the implementation of this importantactivity. I would like to thank the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) for spearheadingthe implementation of this survey. The leadership, technical expertise and dedicationwas crucial in ensuring the successful execution of the survey. I also extend myappreciation to the State Department for Housing and Urban Development, theState Department for Labour and Skills Development, the Kenya Space Agency,the Directorate of Resource Survey and Remote Sensing and the Central Bank ofKenya for their support and guidance throughout the survey process. I am grateful to our development partners especially the World Bank for the fundingreceived under the Eastern Africa Regional Statistics Program for Results (EARSPforR)to undertake this survey. Special gratitude goes to the other development partnersfor their technical support which improved the quality of the survey. My sincere appreciation goes to the field personnel who tirelessly collected thedata across the country. Their commitment, accuracy in data collection, andperseverance under challenging conditions were essential in ensuring the integrityand reliability of the survey data. I acknowledge the efforts of the data analystsand chapter authors who meticulously processed and analysed the collecteddata. Their expertise was vital in translating raw data into meaningful insightsand comprehensive reports. I am particularly indebted to the households and all institutions that participatedand responded adequately in this survey.
