Foreword This Survey is published under the responsibility of the Economic and Development Review Committee ofthe OECD, which is charged with theexamination of the economic situation of member countries. ThisSurvey is part of the OECD Morocco Country Programme 2 and is the first OECD Economic Survey ofMorocco. The cut-off date for data used in the Survey is 30 June 2024. The economic situation and policies of Morocco were reviewed by the Committee on 9 July 2024, with theparticipation of a delegation of representatives of the Moroccan authorities, led by Mr. Adil HIDANE,Director of Studies and Financial Forecasts at the Ministry of Economy and Finance. The draft report wasthen revised in light of the discussions and given final approval as the agreed report of the wholeCommittee on 1st August 2024. The Survey has been compiled and revised in close collaboration withsenior representatives fromnational official institutions including the Head of Government Office; Bank Al-Maghrib (Central Bank); Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESE); Competition Council;HautCommisssariat au Plan,Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Living Abroad;Ministry of Economy and Finance; Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports; Ministry ofIndustry and Trade; Ministry of Solidarity, Social Integration and Family; Ministry Delegate to the Head ofGovernment, in chargeof Investment, Convergence, and Evaluation of Public Policies; Office desChanges; Moroccan Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Observatory (OMTPME); and NationalAgency for the Promotion of Employment and Skills (ANAPEC).
