Foreword Jordan hasdemonstrated its political commitment to improving transparency, integrity and accountability,which are essential for addressing policy challenges and fostering public trust and inclusive development.This has culminated in the most recent wave of political, economic and public administration reforms thatreflect the country’s aspirations and efforts in terms of improving good governance and supportingsustainable economic development. The reforms include the Economic Modernisation Vision, the PoliticalSystem Modernisation Plan and the Public Sector Modernisation Roadmap. Public integrity is essential to the economic and social well-being and prosperity of individuals andsocieties, and as such, a cornerstone of any country's modernisation efforts. Publicintegrity is theconsistent alignment of, and adherence to, shared ethical values, principles and norms for upholding andprioritising the public interest over private interests in the public sector. Anti-corruption and integrity effortsare an important part of promoting economic prosperity and political stability. Over the years,Jordan has developed a comprehensive public integrityframework to addressthe country’sintegrityand corruption challenges.These challenges include insufficient transparency and undueinterference in recruitment and selection processesand weak enforcement and oversight.In several areas,such as whistle-blower protection, Jordan has been a pioneer in the region.In 2008, theJordanian Integrityand Anti-Corruption Commission(JIACC) developed the country’sfirst anti-corruption st
