Overview 2024 was an important year for the Group to stride towards itsestablishedobjectives and make an innovative development.Throughoutthe year,adhering to a“Railway+”strategy-led andmarket-oriented approach with efficiency as the core, and centeringonthree main principles of market development,managementinnovationand strategic development,the management of theCompanyactively expanded markets,strictly monitored safetymanagementand deepened the contracting system reform.Itcontinuedto tap into potential and enhance efficiency,madescientificdevelopment planning and actively promoted projectconstruction.As such,a generally stable level of rail freighttransportationvolume was maintained,achieving satisfactoryoperating results. 2024+ Market Condition 2024 2024was a challenging year for the Group.Due to the volatileinternational political and economic situation, the severe economicdownturn in some domestic industries, and a cyclical fluctuationof market demand for conventional energy sources, the coal pricecontinuedto decline with weak end-user demand.In responsetothe changes in the market structure,the management of theCompanyheld several market analysis seminars and adjustedthemarketing strategy in a timely manner.The marketing teamadheredto the principle of overseas expansion,and maintainedaclose connection with upstream and downstream customers,to aggressively develop new supply of goods. In terms of freightorganization,we have increased our efforts in organizing ironorefines shipment to the west,actively expanded the supplychain business of gravel transportation and sales, and introducedmorenon-coal goods from Shuohuang Railway.By taking suchmeasures, the Company has basically maintained a stable level oftransportation volume.
