During FY2024, theglobaleconomic recovery stumbled,geopolitical tensionsintensified, and international oil prices fluctuated significantly.The “nearshoring” policies adopted by Europe and the USAfortheir supply chains have led to a continued decline inthe volume of traditional cross-border logistics orders, whiletheindustry profit margins continued to be squeezed bycompliance costs, labour costs and other costs. Meanwhile,China’s “14th Five-Year Plan for the Development of ModernLogistics”clearly proposesto “build a secured and efficient global logistics network”,and the “Action Plan for the Construction of InternationalLogisticsChannels”issuedby the State Council envisages the addition of 50 new cross-borderfreight trunk routes within three years.In such acontext where “challenges and opportunities coexist”, all staffmembers of the Group remained steadfast in delving into theGroup’s business, nurturing a cohesive team of talents andunifying their efforts from top to bottom to navigate throughpredicamentsand stand out through innovation,therebywriting a chapter of our own for 2024 with concrete actions. “Goingglobal”is a key strategic direction for the futuredevelopmentof the Group,and the year of 2024 hasmarkedthe inaugural year of the Group’s comprehensiveadvancement towards “going global”. As the main platformforthe Group’s global business expansion,the Companyhasintegrated its global network and other advantageousresources,steadily expanded its international express andsupply chain services, and further refined and consolidateditsfull-chain international logistics services,thereby furtherenhanced its comprehensive international service capabilities.
