Amidst the post-pandemic recovery, there were hugedifferences between the world’s major economies, and theincomegap was also increasing.However,some countries,such as China, Japan, Brazil, Mexico, Australia, Turkey andPeru, still achieved export growth. 36.9%41.6%90%1.9%3.8%18 Accordingto the data published by the International AirTransportAssociation(“IATA”),the global aviation industrymaintaineda recovery trend in 2023,with a year-on-yearincrease of 36.9%in total passenger traffic,furtherapproachingthe pre-pandemic level.In particular,theinternationalpassenger traffic achieved a year-on-yearincreaseof 41.6%,reaching close to 90%of the pre-pandemiclevel.Taking into account the distance traveled,the air freight volume for the full year of 2023 decreasedby1.9%,which was an improvement from the previouslyexpecteddecrease of 3.8%,mainly due to the surge inthe
