Inthis section, current as well as historical robotprograms will be briefly summarized. Introduction Most countries invest in robotics – mainly on agovernmentlevel. This trend has beenstrengthenedinrecentyears.Throughdiversification and the establishment of robottechnologies, investmentinnewrobottechnologies has become larger than before, and the application spectrum of such R&D onrobotics is now broader. For more than tenyears,a very challenging environment–influencedby AI,IoT,Big Data and 5Gtelecommunication – has been driving our dailylife, including robots. Summary: The robotics R&D program of eachcountrywill be summarized into five pagesmostly. Several big programs in one countrycan be separately summarized, for instance,Artemis Lunar Program, IRAS program by NSFand so on.
