The Company’sshares have been listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong KongLimited since 2007. The Company (together with its subsidiariesand its jointly-controlled entitles, the “Group”) is a leading fullyintegrated animal protein product provider whose products rangefrom feeds, poultry, advanced nutritional formulae for animals, toprocessed foods. 1330SOS The Group follows a highly vertically integrated businessmodel which integrates feed production, chicken incubationand slaughtering, chicken processing and food processinginto a unified operating platform, with nearly 30 factories in 13provinces and cities including Liaoning, Tianjin and Anhui. Itsanimal feeds are mainly sold under the brands “Dr Nupak” (), “Green Knight” () and “SOS”, and chicken meatand processed foods are mainly sold under the brand “Sisters’Kitchen” (). 7-Eleven The Group is a well-known supplier of processed chicken meat inthe PRC, and is one of the designated suppliers of chicken meatto fast food chains such as “Dicos” () and “Wallace” (). The Group is also the designated exporter of high-qualitychicken meat products in the PRC for “Ito Yokado” and 7-Elevenconvenience store chains in Japan. GDP5.2% During the past year, the international macro-environmentbecame more challenging with increasing complexity andvolatility. The Russian-Ukrainian conflict continued and theresurgence of war in the Middle East region has aggravated thealready fragile global supply chain, increasing the risk of globaleconomic stagflation. The GDP of China grew by 5.2% year-on-year, with the economy rebounding and improving, but at thesame time there were difficulties and challenges as effectivedemand was inadequate and there was overcapacity in someindustries. Through years of development, the market structure of the whitefeather meat chicken industry in China has been shifted fromdemand exceeding supply in the past to the current conditionof supply exceeding demand. To cope with market changes,the Company took the initiative to restructure its businessmodel focusing on downstream food processing, increasing thescale of food processing, downscaling the breeding operation,diversifying the supply mode of feathered chicken, putting greatefforts in developing differentiated products and processedproducts catering
