For the year ended31 December 2023, the Group recorded a profit attributableto shareholders of the Company (the “Shareholders”) ofHK$39.41 million, decreased by 91.4% when compared tothe previous year, mainly due to the decrease in share ofresults of Xiamen International Bank Co., Ltd. (“XIB”) forthe year ended 31 December 2023 as compared to thesame period in 2022 and the recognition of the one-offloss on dilution of the Company’s shareholding in XIB fromapproximately 8.8543% to approximately 8.689% in March2023. Basic earnings per share was 6.6 HK cents.
