The CBRE 2022 Asia Pacific Real Estate Capital Flows Report reveals that inbound and outbound investment trends in the region have declined in 2022. The top three destinations for outbound investment were Singapore, the United States, and Japan, while the top three destinations for inbound investment were China, India, and Australia. The report also highlights that interest in Asia Pacific has risen, but investment has slowed significantly due to increased volatility in exchange rates. The net outflow of capital from Asia Pacific was US$11.5 billion in 2022.
