Despitethe challenges faced during the past year,I amproud to report that our company has continued to navigatethechallenging business landscape with resilience andadaptability. COVID-19COVID-19 With the Covid-19 pandemic continued to severely affect theHong Kong lifestyle entertainment industry generally, this pastyear has been a difficult time for our lifestyle entertainmentbusiness in Hong Kong. This segment continued to experiencea downturn in performance as social restrictions and cautiousconsumer behavior exhibited during the pandemic hinderedour operations. Furthermore, despite the gradual lifting ofvarious social restrictions since November 2022, the recoveryof the Hong Kong market post COVID-19 has been slowerthan initially anticipated.
