Covid-19Covid-19 OurLifestyle Entertainment Segment hasfaced significant challenges due to the changeinmacro-economic environment and socialpreferences,after the Covid-19 pandemic.Despite the Company’s efforts in implementingvariousstrategic changes,the segment hassufferedfrom changes in customer behaviorsandpreferences,as many potential customershave switched to online entertainment options,alternativevenues or cross-border attractions.Withthe economic downturn and change inconsumerattitude,the performance of thissegment has shown no significant improvementcomparedto the Covid-19 pandemic period.Hence,during this challenging period,theGroupperformance has largely supported byits property management segment. Management Discussion and Analysis Asa complex property management serviceprovider, the Group provides complete servicesinrelation to various types of properties,includingmedium to high-end residentialpropertiesand non-residential propertiessuchas class A office buildings,commercialcomplexes, hospitals and industrial parks. 6911.3 Withthe Group managed over 69 projectswitha gross floor area of approximately 11.3millionsquare metres as at 30 September2023and extended its business scope toprovide value-added services since the secondhalfof 2022,property management segmentcontinued to be the main drive to the Group’sperformanceduring the six months ended 30September 2023.
