With the reopening of boardersamongst Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland in the fourth quarter,the Group’s business regains momentum with the society movingforward along the path to normalcy. 本集團於回顧年度的總收入較去年同期輕微增長2.0%至11,977,844,000港元(2022年:11,737,803,000港元),權益持有人應佔溢利則減少7.7%至1,284,757,000港元(2022年:1,392,364,000港元),每股基本盈利為2.19港元(2022年:2.37港元)。本公司董事會(「董事會」)建議派付末期股息每股0.55港元,連同已於2022年12月派付的中期股息每股0.55港元,2023財年股息合共為每股1.10港元(2022年:每股1.10港元),全年派息比率為50.3%(2022年:46.4%)。 The Group’s total revenue for the Year under review slightlyincreasedby 2.0%over the corresponding period lastyearto HK$11,977,844,000(2022:HK$11,737,803,000).Profit attributable to equity holders decreased by 7.7% toHK$1,284,757,000 (2022: HK$1,392,364,000), and the basicearnings per share was HK$2.19 (2022: HK$2.37). The boardof directors of the Company (the “Board”) recommended thepayment of a final dividend of HK$0.55 per share, together withthe interim dividend of HK$0.55 per share paid in December2022, the total dividend for FY2023 amounted to HK$1.10 pershare (2022: HK$1.10 per share). As at 31 March 2023, the Group had a globalnetwork of 3,105 shops (2022: 2,809 shops), including 2,938“Lukfook” shops (2022: 2,719 shops), with business spanningacross Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland, Malaysia, Cambodia, thePhilippines, Laos, the United States, Canada and Australia. CHAIRMAN’S STATEMENT主席報告 前景 OUTLOOK 於回顧年度內,由於低基數效應及受惠於港澳與內地於第4季全面通關,港澳業務得以邁向復常,其回顧年度內的同店銷售增長亦能維持正增長。港澳復甦的勢頭於2024財年首季保持,其2023年4月至6月21日的同店銷售增長約為+70.0%,而內地則相對持平。 During the Year under review, due to the low base effect and thebenefit from the reopening of boarders amongst Hong Kong andMacau and the Mainland in the fourth quarter, the business inHong Kong and Macau was on its way to normalcy, and its SSSGduring the Year under review maintained a positive growth. Themomentum of recovery in Hong Kong and Macau continued in thefirst quarter of FY2024, with SSSG of approximately +70.0% fromApril to 21 June 2023 and relatively flat for Mainland. The pandemic that caused global disruption is behind us.All walks of life are in gradual recovery. However, the macroeconomic outlook, especially Mainland, remains uncertain.
