A profit of approximately HK$357 million was recorded, compared to a loss of approximately HK$99 million last year.The performance of the Group during this period was improved mainly due to the disposal of the entire equity interests in Starlite Printers (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd and recorded a net gain of approximately HK$483 million. However, the appreciation of Renminbi by approximately 4%, the exchange loss recorded, and the sharp rise in major commodity prices, logistics and labour-related costs in the period have affected the overall performance.The global economy seemed to be on a path of recovery during the reporting period; however, the macro environment fluctuated sharply in the second half of the year. Except for the once-in-a-century COVID-19 pandemic and the mutation of the highly contagious Omicron virus strain that swept the world, the global supply chain continued to suffer from uninterrupted disruptions, the geopolitics in Eastern Europe was unstable, the development prospects of different economies showed a trend of differentiation, and the inflation in the United States and Europe has risen to the highest level in more than 40 years, all of which greatly increased the o
