Followingthe interest rate adjustments implemented by the Hong Kong MonetaryAuthority and local commercial banks in alignment with the monetaryeasing stance of the U.S. Federal Reserve, the domestic residentialproperty market experienced a noticeable revival in both capital valuesand transaction volumes. Notably, the Centa-City Leading Index (CCL)staged an 11.3% rebound, ascending from 136.8 in late March 2025 to152.3 by the end of the reporting period. Concurrently, global and localequity markets exhibited remarkable resilience and upward momentum,with major U.S. indices repeatedly reaching historic highs. While domesticconsumer sentiment remained cautious, overall market confidencemaintained a progressive, recovery-oriented trajectory. Operational Review and Risk Management (LTV) In navigating this evolving macroeconomic landscape, the Groupadhered to a prudent yet agile operational strategy, balancing stringentrisk management with tactical growth. To proactively capitalize on theemerging opportunities arising from the market recovery, the Groupstrategically expanded its money lending business while maintainingits commitment to asset quality. We reinforced our rigorous creditunderwriting standards, maintained conservative loan-to-value (LTV)ratios, and enhanced our overarching risk management framework toensure the sustainability of our portfolio’s yield.
