INTRODUCTION $850 billion annually – that is the estimated market potential of WellTechacross the United States, the European Union, and the United Kingdom.But what exactly is WellTech, and why is it poised to redefine the futureof health? Healthcare is undergoing a profound transformation – moving from a system focused ontreatment and disease management to one that empowers individuals to sustain lifelongwell-being. The boundaries between clinical care and everyday life are dissolving, giving riseto a consumer-centric model defined by personalization, prevention, and empowerment.This evolution marks the emergence of a new category within MedTech: WellTech. WellTech represents a new generation of technologies designed not only to treat illness, but tosustain health. Powered by data, connectivity, and Artificial Intelligence (AI), WellTechsolutions enable consumers to actively manage their well-being while providing healthcaresystems with continuous, real-world insights. From wearables tracking sleep, stress, andactivity to AI-driven platforms offering personalized guidance, WellTech is transforming healthmanagement from a reactive process into a proactive, everyday experience. This study explores how the convergence of consumer technology, MedTech, and dataecosystems is reshaping the future of health. Drawing on insights from 1,500 consumersacross the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany, as well as interviews withindustry leaders, our analysis reveals a growing demand for accessible, evidence-based,and trusted preventive solutions. According to our survey, more than 95% of consumersexpress interest in using at least one WellTech solution in the future, highlighting the stronggrowth potential of this emerging market.1 The implications are far-reaching. Health systems are transitioning from a disease-centeredmodel to a LIFEcare ecosystem that integrates prevention, early detection, and continuousoptimization as core elements of both care delivery and daily living.
