Within FIFA, the Legal &Compliance Divisionleads all regulatory and compliance operations infootball at the global level, providing the football and sports communityin general with its extensive expertise in the dynamic international sportsenvironment. Calling on the experience developed over many years, FIFA is delighted tolaunch theFIFA Executive Programme on Compliance in Sport. Theprogramme is specifically designed for compliance professionals seekingto deepen their expertise in the ever-evolving sports industry. The multi-module programme offers a comprehensive and practicalexploration of the compliance frameworks, governance standards andethical practices that underpin sports operations globally. PROGRAMME GOALS Offer participants practical guidance innavigating key compliance areas, such as integrity,anti-corruption, financial transparency,internal investigations and data protection,with a focus on real-world application. Provide participants with an understanding of thefoundational principles of compliance, governanceand risk management in sports organisations. Foster a culture of integrity and accountabilityby empowering participants to lead complianceinitiatives and promote best practiceswithin their organisations. Equip participants with advanced knowledge andpractical skills in designing, implementing andmanaging effective compliance programmeswithin their organisations. PROGRAMMEMETHODOLOGY The FIFA Executive Programme on Compliance in Sport, delivered exclusively inEnglish, engages participants through sessions, discussions, practical examplesand interactive activities, with each module and topic designed to complementand enhance the others. Upon the successful completion of the programme,participants will receive an official certificate of completion issued by FIFA. PARTICIPANTS The programme is designed for compliance professionals who are working in, oraspiring to enter, the field of compliance within sports institutions. The course isparticularly suited to individuals from FIFAMember Associations, confederations,clubs and leagues, as well as independent experts from other sports organisationswho are responsible for, or involved in, compliance matters, whether from alegal, governance or integrity perspective. FIFA will select up to 28 participants. All applicantswill be informed of the status of their application accordingly. The programme will be led by experienced FIFA legal and complianceprofessionals, independent compliance experts, and senior legal and financialspecialists in the sports industry. PROGRAMME COSTS A fee of USD1,800 is due upon acceptance into the programme. Participantsfrom FIFA Member Associations and confederations will be exempt from theprogramme fee. The cost of travel and accommodation for the duration of theprogramme is to be covered by the participant themselves or their organisation.
