Selectionpanel Application Projectappraisal Contracting Projectevaluation Recommendationpanel A recommendation panel(comprised of the GSMA,donors and independentexperts) assesses theshortlisted projects andrecommends the mostimpactful applications.Applicants will have theopportunity to (virtually)pitch their projects in frontof this panel. The GSMA receivesapplications, screensthem for eligibility andscores them based ona defined set of criteria.Around 30 applicants areshortlisted. Shortlisted applicantsundergo a virtual duediligence assessmentof their company’soperational, fiduciaryand reputational risks,and develop a projectproposal.
