The world stands at a crossroads today, progresstowards the SDGs remains slow, and in some areas, has even regressed. Globally, the call for urgent,collective action is louder than ever. As the world’s largest democracy and a fast-growing economy, India shoulders a unique responsibility. Ourthird Voluntary National Review, presented to the United Nations High Level Political Forum on SustainableDevelopment, builds on the momentum of our previous reports in 2017 and 2020. Over the years, India has taken thismodel to the most granular levels and districts, blocks and villages have been engaged to enable them toadopt the SDG framework.
