Management Discussion and Analysis管理層討論及分析 OUTLOOK AND PROSPECTS Hong Kong’s construction industry isnavigating a transitional phase marked by aslowdown in growth amid macroeconomicfactors. Private sector property developmentactivities in Hong Kong remain cautious, particularly in commercial developments, leading to restrained number of tendersfor façade and metalwork subcontracts.Although government-led infrastructure andurban renewal projects have provided somesupport to the industry in the near and longterms, existing challenges such as volatilityfrom US Federal Reserve’s interest ratedecisions, geopolitical tensions and record-high office vacancy rates subdue marketdemand, induce keen competition andimpact the profit margin of the industry. Despite the abovementioned challenges, weare confident that the Group can leverage itscompetitive strengths to maintain our marketshare and capture future opportunities. We will maintain a prudent approach tobidding on new projects and keep our costcontrol measures in place. The Board willalso prudently pursue selective investmentopportunities to broaden the Group’sincome base and enhance resilience throughdiversification. Management Discussion and Analysis管
