Totalrevenue of approximately HK$107.8 millionwas recognised for the six months ended 30September 2023. 62.5 During the six months ended 30 September2023, we were awarded six new projectswith a total contract sum of approximatelyHK$62.5 million, out of which five projectsbelong to façade works projects and oneproject belong to building metal finishingworks project. Management Discussion and Analysis管理層討論及分析 業務回顧 BUSINESS REVIEW(Continued) The Group’s overall gross profit margincontinued to improve during the reportingperiod thanks to a series of successful costcontrol measures imposed. 展望及前景 OUTLOOK AND PROSPECTS An array of measures on Hong Kong’se c o n o m i cd e v e l o p m e n t h a v e b e e nmentioned in the Chief Executive’s 2023Policy Address, which showed numerouscommitments on land and housing supplya s w e l l a s t h e c o n t i n u e d i n v e s t m e n tin construction industry. The outlineddevelopment of the Northern Metropolis willbe the upcoming new engine for growth. Itis expected that Hong Kong’s constructionindustry is full of opportunities in long term,though we should address the challengeof current global economic uncertaintiesthrough maintaining our competitivestrengths. Competition in the construction marketis fierce under the challenging economicenvironment. The local property developersand owners are expected to continue theirstringent control on project budgets.
