BUSINESS REVIEW We are a subcontractor engaged in theprovision of design, supply, and installationservices for façade works and building metalfinishing works in Hong Kong. 17920.1413.1130.7 As at 30 September 2024, the Group had17 projects in progress with a total originalcontract sum of approximately HK$920.1million and a total project backlog ofapproximately HK$413.1 million. Totalrevenue of approximately HK$130.7 millionwas recognised for the six months ended 30September 2024. 5208.523 During the six months ended 30 September2024, we were awarded 5 new projectswith a total contract sum of approximatelyHK$208.5 million, out of which 2 projectsbelong to façade works projects and 3projects belong to building metal finishingworks projects. Management Discussion and Analysis管理層討論及分析 OUTLOOK AND PROSPECTS The projected private flat supply for the nextthree to four years and the latest unsoldunits in Hong Kong maintain at a high level.Property developers hesitate to start orinvest in new construction projects in thelocal private residential properties market.In addition, record-high office vacancyrates and decline in office rents depressthe demand of new commercial properties,leading to a significant drop in commercialproperties development projects in theHong Kong market. The Group keeps facing keen competitionin recent period under the challengingconditions in Hong Kong. Low demandand stringent budget in local residentialand commercial development projectsare expected and may have negativeimpact on the gross profit margins of theGroup’s new upcoming projects. We areprepared to implement more cost controlmeasures so as to mitigate the onslaughtof the abovementioned challenges.
