Given these and other structural shiftsand uncertainties, 2021 is likely to mark another transformative chapter in the historiccritical juncture in which we find ourselves.For government leaders dedicated to advancing the interests of their citizens in thecontext of this dynamic and uncertain near-term future, priorities must include repairingthe social fabric, navigating a transformed geo-technological order, competing in atransformed global economy, and securing the long-term future. In each of these areas,leaders face pressing challenges and novel threats, as well as a remarkable landscape ofemergent opportunities to drive transformative change—starting now. H.E.
