While major global economies have managed toachieve moderate growth, uncertainties in policies, the continuation ofhigh-interest rate policies, escalating geopolitical conflicts, and increasingclimate risks still have a certain impact on the global capital markets andthe real economy. According to the latest report from the United Nations,global economic growth in 2025 is expected to be 2.4%, a decline from2.9% in 2024 and a 0.4 percentage point reduction from the January2025 forecast.Regarding the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (“Hong Kong”),the economy has seen steady progress driven by tourism recovery andthe growth of the fintech sector. According to the data provided bythe Hong Kong government, in the first quarter of 2025, Hong Kong’sGDP grew by approximately 3.1% year-on-year, with real GDP growingby 1.9%. This provides a stable operational foundation for the Group’sbusiness.In 2025, the cryptocurrency industry entered a new stage of development.The global market capitalization of stablecoins has exceeded $260 billion,with use cases covering cross-border payments, clearing and settlement,DeFi, and inflation hedging in emerging markets, becoming the coredriver of on-chain financial activities. Meanwhile, Real World Assets (RWA)are being rapidly tokenized and integrated into blockchains, fosteringa deeper integration of traditional finance with blockchain. Assets likebonds, notes, and real estate are now being tokenized for trading andglobal circulation, reshaping asset management and liquid
